Change sound settings in main menu

After I update the game the sound settings get reset. It's very loud and I have to start a new game in order to change the settings. Would it be possible to have these settings in the main menu instead? Or not be reset when updating?

We will slightly reduce the default music volume in the next patch v5.0.08. The adjusted default volume should be more adequate.

It would be incredible to be able to mute the sound or lower it. I normally play on 2 screens, while I watch something else, so mutting Capitalismlab sound would be ideal. Thanks

While OP's complaint is the sound level is high, i.e., reset to default, after a game update, I believe the overall point is that sound settings among other items should be adjustable at the main menu screen. For example, get rid of Credits and replace it with Options, allowing us to adjust without being forced to enter in the game world.
