Capitalism 2 and Capitalism Lab Forum

Hi,
I am running windows 7 on virtualbox, when I start the game I get a black windowed screen
and it closes
*sigh* have to play capitalism II

Here I have the same problem with virtualbox.

The program will open in a new window, I can login, but then... nothing, just a black screen (within a window).

I got a message on the screen:
SetMode failed (DDERR_UNSUPPORTED)
And once
Memory not freed. File name: d:\cap2src\ilib\audio.cpp, line no.: 146

I don't get the first message everytime. I think it is depending on the resolution that is used in the system. Last tested resolution 1360x664.

Virtual system environment:
Windows 7 x86
12GB RAM
164MB display memory (2d, and 3d enabled)

It seems that Cap Lab is not compatible with virtual box. If any of you have any suggestions to resolve the compatibility issue, please let us know.

I get this error on my NetBook, not using VBox. 800x600 1024x600 These are the resolutions on my Netbook. Any suggestions on how to fix this error so I can play the game?

Capitalism Lab requires at least 1024x768 to run.
