"Real Estate Department" in HQ of Companies: Suggest for the company to have mass scale rent control for resident and commercial
The mayor policies section allows for this for government-owned buildings. I suggest companies also have sliders to set rent prices on a mass scale instead of one by one which makes it very difficult when you have over 50 apartments.
Please see images
Yeah, I know that apartment UI but apartment and commercials aren't like other buildings they only have one variable which is rent so it makes sense to have the same mass scale management as the mayor does for city-owned properties. the image you show is still macro managed. yes, the rent price rises and lowers based on the market but what if I want to set it all at 0 or 200. I want to be able to test out different prices to make the economy and city grow. my companies and subsidiaries own over 100 properties. I can't go through each one and change rent

Could be called "Real Estate Department" and the controls could be in the headquarter of the company?

this can already be done by hiring a CEO and affecting him to the desired buildings or by transfering them to a subsidiary company. I don't know if the profit margin slider has an effect on the rent price in this case though. If not, that could be corrected and would do the trick in my opinion.

Maybe it's just a lack of imagination on my part, but I don't think real estate is a good place to invest time and effort into with Capitalism Lab. Apartments and offices are good the way that they are, and they serve an important function as passive income. They don't make a ton of money, but it's low effort and it's steady, so they do well to provide some base income to allow companies to do bigger things.

Thanks for your input.
I understand what you both say, what my suggestion is just literally giving the same controls to companies for their real state as city mayors do. I personally believe it would not take much effort and could be implemented quite easily, that would only affect those want the option and those who don't can keep doing what they do.
I personally populate cities with lots of apartments and offices, I have over 100+ real estate buildings. They are all at full capacity but rent is low, I would like to have the option to change rent prices on a mass scale, tweak it and raise it high and low and see what works well. I think many people would benefit from this feature, as unlike other industries the real estate business in cap lab only has rent as a variable factor but that's on a macro level I don't have time to go through each 100+ building and change the rent, I would like to change it on a large scale, just like the city mayor can.

What do you mean by profit margin slider, could you elaborate.

I mean the slider that tells the pricing policy when you hire a COO : maximize profit margin on one side and maximize market share on the other. This could be seen as maximize rent price (profit margin) or maximize occupancy (market share), but as I am telling you, I am not sure this has an effect on apartments/commercial buildings yet. The point of having to hire a COO to manage them is that managing 100+ buildings is a heavy job and it can't be done for free in the HQ, just like you must hire a COO to manage the retail stores for you.
Also, I agree with
ohms_law's point.

oh, that slider. Yeah I've tested that, I don't see it affecting real estate.
Secondly there I don't want someone to manage it on my behalf I want the option as CEO to just change rent on a mass scale. just like city mayor does as shown in the above images. so have a slider option maybe in HQ with the option of "0% - 500%" of market rent. That would not take much time or effort to implement, it is simple and only really affects those who want to use the feature and those who don't are not affected.

I fully understand what you mean, but I am pointing out that real life business doesn't have a slider to auto manage prices ; you need an actual person to do this, in this case the COO. If you are not happy with the salary he/she asks, then you do it yourself. That's how it works. If everything can be regulated through sliders without any cost, the game loses it's capitalist sense and it becomes Slider Lab.
