A new Real Estate department in the Headquarters.

This new feature will be available in the upcoming post-release beta version 5.9.00.

It provides two functions:

[ ] Auto Manage Apartments
[ ] Auto Manage Commercial Buildings

When enabled, the computer will automatically manage all of the corporation's existing apartments and/or commercial buildings. It will set their rents based on the settings in the HQ and free you from the tedious task of managing the rents of individual buildings.

It also gives you the flexibility of customizing the rents of individual apartments/commercial buildings. You will see a new [Global] button on the UI of individual buildings. When it is set to [Global], it uses the global rent settings from its HQ's Real Estate department. When it is set to [Local], the rent is set locally.

Why cant slider go over 100% till lets say 200% ?

Knowing how sliders work in CapLab, I can say that 200% is a bad idea. But 110 or 120% is definitely a good one. (If it won't lead to skipping some values)

This has been improved. The new version increased the upper limit of the rent settings from 100 to 120 in the new real estate department.

It would be nice to have something like this in Human Resource department for new talent system in R&D and Software Companies where you could adjust all stuff salary according to skill/loyalty they have...
so for example.

you could set loyalty to 80 and it would increase or decrease current salary of stuff in all R&D, Software company units



Also where can i mod or change how much percentage of market can Internet Companies take? Example. News company is limited to 50%, how can i change this to 40%

I feel this is still low. I personally suggested it should be 0 - 200% that would mean the slider has same control as changing rent price locally

We may increase the upper limit in the release version (when the post-release beta version is migrated to the release version.)
