I must have missed something with release version 5.8.05...? i'm selecting four competitors and the game opens with just four, and i'm on zero speed pause. as soon as i hit five to start i now have the max number of competitors.

We will investigate the problem.

Could you please provide us with your save game file and let us know the following?
1) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

thank you. i fixed it by unistalling and then scouring my drives for any cap-files. i'm loading and testing mods now.

i'm using 5.8.05

it turned out to be the Digital Age DLC. i haven't figured out an in-game fix for it.
