i would like to purchase this game, but can you change the $ to £ in game, any help or advice would be great.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the currency sign in the game.

If you really, REALLY want to change it, I'm fairly sure it's an easy thing to mod! It's literally one or two lines of text that have to be changed; then you can go ahead and change it to British pounds, Japanese yen, East German marks, soda caps, anything you want!
