Is it possible to create a script where I can create what companies I wish to have at the start or the classes,Mega classes and how many of each class.
My idea would be to create a game script where I can have multiple companies in each class, rather than multiple classes of some and non of the other if that makes sense?
What is the Max companies at startup, I have had over 90 when i've messed with scripts.
Can you have replacement companies lined up rather than a random company with a different class taking the spot? Ie, Microsoft Software Os goes bankrupt new company Bettersoft Software Os takes over, rather than Johnson and Johnson with there class?
How many companies with Sub companies can you have in a game?
When you hit the max and create more sub companies, does this take spots from the AI competition, IE If 100 is the max, and I had 50 companies inc Subs, suddenly a company goes bankrupt meaning now 1 space is available, can I take it with a sub meaning I would now have 51 companies inc sub, whilst AI has only 49?
Or is the a Max on the companies I can own directly and in directly.
Is it possible to have companies that agree a friendly merger at least to have part of there name in the new company. For example my companies called David and we merge with Admin, New Name David Admin. Other Mergers could have the same thing whilst takeovers stay the same.
Creating a scripted game to have either companies of choice or classes
Re: Creating a scripted game to have either companies of choice or classes
This answers one of my questions. Thought I would post it.
AI Product Expertise=<Expertise Product Class>, <Number of AI competitors>
Use this statement to assign a specified type of expertise to AI competitors.
<Expertise Product Class> is the expertise product class. For example, “apparel”
<Number of AI competitors> is the number of AI competitors possessing this type of expertise.
Example:
AI Product Expertise=Apparel, 3
With the above statement, there will be 3 AI competitors possessing expertise in Apparel in the beginning of the game, resulting in more intense competition in the apparel industry.
Please note that this only applies to AI competitors with a diversified business strategy. (e.g. retail focused companies and companies with other focuses are not affected.)
