Partnership
Is there away of creating a partnership or at least having a partnership that gives you 6 months minimum before they don't supply or won't accept your supply?
One of the issues i've found is that when you decide to either buy or sell to the Ai, you go into a price protect partnership, but this can be broken very easily by the AI.
For example I will sell sugar, I now have a buyer and we form a partnership. yes they could open there own farm and swap which is what they will do but there should be at least a message that the break will happen and so you would have at least some time to work out your next strategy. 6 months minimum, It would aid the Semi Industry a lot.
Part continuation
The other thing I would like to see if possible is that if I bought say a car factory off the AI, I should have an option to keep using there parts.
For example I've just bought a car plant off Audi, I will make my own body but I want to continue to use there engines, at least till my own is developed.
My reasoning behind this is. land Rover where owned by BMW and Ford, land Rover sold these vehicles the day after they were sold and still do, but they still have to use lots of components and engines from the previous manufacturer and they still do. Land rover did build a new engine but that went into the New Tata L/R vehicles and is slowly been implemented into the rest of the product but this has taken 5 years or effectively the life of the vehicle to implement.
Land Rover today are still in partnership with BMW and will be using this tech in there latest electric cars, However the ford plant that was building engines for L/R will be closing, But Ineos are buying that plant for there new defender.
Loosing stats on a new purchased building
When I take over a company everything resets and you loose the quality and everything the the plant had under the previous owner, which shouldn't occur as you are paying for the work force and building, and with you retaining the work force you should keep the quality. I would understand if it had been bankrupt then sold, or the line had ceased and the company moth balled the factory before selling.
