On the bank’s Balance Sheet page, you will see the following new option:

“[ ] Must Take Action When Bank Capital Ratio Falls Below the Requirement”

If this mode is enabled, the game will pop up a window when the bank capital ratio is insufficient. If this mode is disabled, the game will stop issuing loans and notify you via the Event Tracker.

In other words, when the Bank Capital Ratio falls below the requirement, it will no longer pop up the “Out of Cash” window forcing you to inject capital to your bank. This new version will do the following two things instead:

a. It will stop issuing new loans and display an icon on the Overall page and Loans page of the bank informing you about it.

b. It will notify you via the Event Tracker, which shows a flashing alert icon at the bottom-left of the screen. (the same type of alert that you get when a product supply link is broken.)

Great! definely the people will enjoy this new function!

But i do recomend to change the Bank Capital Ratio Formula. Tha bank capital ratio mensure the leverage of the bank and its assets with some risk, but (like real banks) we have another asset without risk, the Cash, so we must subctrat the cash of the total Loans to Customers, to have a more acurate/real ratio.

with this the player will see a significant reduction in capital injection needs, and reflect a more real situation :D

I put the situation on the image

@David : That's an excellent idea. Great job from you, and the dev team. :)

@MosierCan : no can do. The Bank Capital Ratio is an approximation of the real world Tier 1 Ratio. Cash is an asset that bears no risk, but its mere presence in bank coffers doesn't negate risks either. I discussed this matter at length with David, hence the formula change a few minor version ago.

Hi Johan, glad that you like the new feature. My role at Enlight is Marketing and PR manager who also wear the hat of a community manager. The dev team handles all the design and dev. I do recommend user suggestions to them, and sometimes suggest my own ideas to them. For this one, it is entirely the dev team's own work, so I won't share any credit on this one. :)
