The game now rates the bond risk to the situation after the bond has been issued.
Fixed the issue described below:
In the current 6.1.11, when a company is bankrupted, I notice that the shareholders still get some residual values from their equities whereas the bond holders lose everything. This contradicts with the real world as the bond investors always have the higher priority as a liability takers than the shareholders in case of bankruptcy. This also reconciles with the relative less profit of a bond as it should have less risk comparing to the equity investing.
Version 6.2.06
City Economic Simulation DLC Improvements:
Improved the simulation engine responsible for simulating unemployment rates and city population growth.
Increased the effect of city competitiveness ratings on job creations (employment).
Increased the effect of corporate profit tax rate on the investment component of GDP.

Minor Improvement:
Improved graph display. Display decimal places for the values on the y axis of all graphs when applicable.
Bug fixes:
Fixed the bug where university research may be set to “Software” by default.
(Individual software products must be researched via the tech on which they depend. It is not possible to conduct research on software as a whole.)

Improved the city economic simulation realism under the CES DLC.
Two new Challenge games:
1) Dilemma of a Camera Manufacturer
2) Family Farm Business
Fixed a minor text issue in the 8th tutorial.
Version 6.2.04
New Features
1) Our artist has completely redesigned the Department Store building. It is a contemporary design with vibrant colors. Hope you like it.
2) An experimental and unsupported feature: Building and Demolishing Roads.
To activate, first enable the cheat mode: https://www.capitalismlab.com/improvements/cheat-keys/
Then press ALT-R to open the Road Editor, while you are viewing a city whose mayor is under your control.
Please note that this is an experimental and unsupported feature and it may or may not exist in the future version.
The current implementation is an extremely basic version where you must build and demolish one tile at a time. It may be developed into a full feature depending on its gameplay implication and the reception of the community.
Information Center Improvements
1) Updated the functional units related to the Digital Age DLC in the Manager’s Guide.
2) Improved the formatting of various reports in Information Center for better overall look. Added value indicators for some reports (e.g. the Dominance report).
3) On the stock market UI, the display width of the names of companies buying the stocks have been increased.
Interface Improvements
7) News at the bottom of the screen will be displayed in a slightly larger font if the screen resolution is higher than 1024x768. The same improvement has been made to the News log window too.
8) For all [+][-] buttons in the game, you may now hold the SHIFT key while clicking for 10X speed.
Here are the possible ways of using the buttons:
Left-clicking: 1X
Right-clicking: 10X
Right-clicking while holding the SHIFT key: 100X
9) On the world map window, added the display of indicator bars for Real Wage Rate and Unemployment rate.
Game Limit Increase
Increased the upper limit of in-game persons from 101 (100 AI persons + 1 player character) to 120. Currently the game has 109 person portraits. If you are using a mod with a larger number of person portraits, it will take advantage of the increased upper limit.
This change was made in response to the user request post at http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewto ... 322#p29322
Gameplay Balance Improvements
In the previous versions, when using a mod with lots of product types with low Necessity indices, there is a chance that boom and bust cycle is too volatile (GDP growth swinging from -20% to +20%).
The underlying cause of this economic behaviour is explained below:
When there are lots of product types in the mod, the sales of products will contribute to a larger percentage of the total GDP than the base game with no mod.
Therefore, when the sales of products fluctuate wildly due to economic conditions, it will cause a big swing in GDP growth (-20% to +20%)
(You probably wouldn't experience this problem if you using not using a mod.)
This version mitigates it by reducing the effect of economic conditions on product sales in general.
