Training

As it stands, staff train until a unit reaches level 9, then no further training ever needs to happen.

In reality new staff join and leave all the time meaning new staff have to be trained up
In addition local rules, regulations, laws, etc are often changed meaning staff need to learn new processes and methods.
After periods of economic downturn when staff often is reduced, this can lead to more untrained staff when recruitment resumes when economy is booming.

I suggest therefor a "realistic training" option that can be turned on to help simulate these sort of effects.

As it is in most cases you can just set the unit to max training, then never worry about it again.

Excellent suggestion.

I wish that instead of a slider there was a level choice to which experience level you wanted your staff trained for that firm.

So there are 9 levels that your firm units can achieve so maybe when you click ''training'' you can set it to which level you want staff to be trained at. If you then later decide to choose a lower level, then staff will slowly degrade to that level based on time. This would still make it useful/necessary to keep training at a high level even when later in-game as to make sure that your units don't degrade which is not the case currently.

Right now you can just train to max unit level and then shut down the training level once it is maxed. This is not as easily possible for some firm types though such as manufacturing due to technology improvements degrading the manufacturing units level but for everything else it's totally possible.

Also does anyone ever train their mining staff? I never train those poor guys ... My mines are always running on minimum mining capacity unless it's an iron or coal mine which I will sometimes end up utilizing more off than one unit of mining operations.
