Closing down firms...

I would like that instead of demolishing (closing down) firms, there would be an option to close the store - make it empty - no products, workers, nothing, just a shop that is empty and can resume it's work when the player wants that.

Cant we already do that by selecting each module and selecting [NONE] for the module?

But with this close option you don't have any expenses, it just stays there as a closed shop.

Perhaps, but even then, a shop would still need maintenance and surveillance/security, so costs would never be zero

I mean again, without any costs, just let it be, that's it, no maintenance or anything.

That's called an "abandoned building", and it's going to include huge costs to bring back online... Just empty the slots and consider the monthly main as what's necessary to avoid vandalism and decay.

There should be an option to sell multiple stores, mines, factories etc... all at once. Sometimes when I merge with a company I don't want all the stuff they have. Add an option when a merger happens to let me pick what I want to keep and liquidate the rest.

I want that too. So i hope they'll include my idea of sub-companies/sub-divisions. Basicly is like in real life - you can sell out parts of your corporation to others. Check my topic, called "Suggestion - subdivisions/sub-companies". I hope it helps.
