Hello everyone,

I can't get the game started. I get an error message. I tried both exe files:

CapMain.exe
Memory not freed. File name : ILIB\ZipFile.CPP, line no : 134

CapStart.exe
Wrong parameter

I start the game on Windows 10 as administrator and have tried the different compatibility modes. I also tried different resolutions. Nothing helped. The error messages are always the same.

Would be great if someone could help me. Thanks for your help.

CapStart.exe is the right file for running the game, as CapStart will call CapMain.exe. (CapMain.exe cannot be run directly)

For the error message "Wrong parameter" that you got, it could be a Windows error message. Could you please send us a screenshot showing the error message so that we can investigate it?

thank you for the quick response. Here is the screenshot.
The message is in German, meaning: Wrong parameter

1) Please try this solution by downloading and installing the post-release beta version of Capitalism Lab. It is a different version and installs on a different folder and it may work for you.

After the installation, please click on the desktop icon “Capitalism Lab Post-release Beta” to run it.

2) If the above solution doesn't work, you may download the ZIP file of the full version of the game from https://caplab.b-cdn.net/CapLabFullVersion6615.zip

Then extract the ZIP into a different harddisk drive or folder. Then run CapStart.exe from there.

The bug is fixed and I can now enjoy this game.
