Is it possible to have this added back. I think it added a dynamic to the game that is lost with all these seaport supplies.

I prefer that, there'll be cities without ports at all... coz they're not placed on a sealine. Like Wash DC or Berlin or Moscow. No sea = no ports. A we must have a option to choose which cities we're playing in.

Absolutely agree. Need to be able to turn those off.

I agree. No sea port option should be added back.

Since version 1.971, the AI has been programmed to take advantage of the seaport industrial good supply and it is indispensable to AI focusing on product classes such as electronic products, home appliance and computers.

We may add the option of no seaports for consumer goods, but still retain seaports for industrial goods.

The better AI is worth it, now that you mention it... Would it be too cheesy to allow an option where the AI can use ports, but not the player?

For the game script system that we have been working on:

You may create a game up with no seaport using game scripts.

(But AI companies' performances will suffer and this should only be used if you intend to create a game scenario with such characteristics.)
