Capitalism 2 and Capitalism Lab Forum

I understand that this question has been asked before on these forums. However, I don't think I've ever found a definite yes or no answer. While the VC feature page on the website heavily suggest that VC will be a source of capital for private, player companies, it never outright mentions that its possible.

Is it possible for the player, as a private company, to obtain venture capitalist money? Or, is the new VC feature solely for AI companies? If it is possible, how does one raise new seed capital? There isn't a button or icon in the financial actions window to do this.
