Do you have this file anywhere else David? The original reddit post was deleted and the pdf attachment is unavailable. I struggle to run banks whenever I fund them, eventually giving up a run from so many requests to top up their cash. I could really use a bank gameplay guide

File does not appear to be saved anywhere unfortunately. I'll see if I can reconstruct a banking guide from the ground up. It is a surprisingly intricate system despite the relatively simple method of making money from loans only.

It is I've been using Claude to go over banking on a quarterly basis amazing how much depth banking actually has in game.

From me playing with Banking the key to me is:
1. Your deposit rate. (move up to attract depositors move down to discourage
1A. Loan demand bar key if there's no loan demand you don't want new deposits as you have no place to deploy them and just taking on expenses in the form of deposit interests. Don't assume loan demand will just come back (I had a rough 4 years thinking this. Last 2 as I was correcting Fed aggressively cut interest rates. Ouch!)
2. Bank branches competitors in my game (I'm behind versions but they only do a max of 103 branches)
3. Look at markets with highest education to help keep your staff skills avg high markets with lower education staff skills level off.
4. Loan allocation if you want risk bank then do C CCC tier if you want conservative do majority AAA A but wherever you have highest loans out standing when defaults start rising is where you will suffering the biggest loses. AAA A not as safe as it seems.
5. I use Loan to Asset ratio to stop originating loans when defaults are rising or high and go .10 behind competitors rate to try and discourage deposits so we're not paying deposit interest (growing) when we're suffering increasing losses on default.
6. Turn notifications off when bank cash need replenishment its how I stimulate the bank borrowing from the Fed if you have negative cash it will continue to operate if operations sound just a matter of time until it self corrects without needing to infuse capital from parent.

Holy wedding cakes Batman, 103 branches. I was just starting to wonder if my 19 was too much, LOL. My lines are between like 37 to 45 people but I seem to be making money rather than losing it. I put 100% loans into the bottom c group and set the other thing at 80% and I'm making a killing right now. There's like 200 million in defaults but I'm going to guess that's probably not that big of a number is it. I think I'm bringing in low 20 million annually which is a big number for me that's exciting.

Curious, how do you use Claude to access the information from Capitalism and what prompts are you using? How do the results change your approach to banking?
