I suggest that the banking company can set up its own, using their own cash, free to set interest rates. Other AI below the central bank interest on loans, and easier to make the whole financial world out of the economic crisis, lending companies earn monthly interest.
AI directly freedom can also be carried out through the establishment of bank credit.

Not a bad Idea, I think there should be an option as well at the beginning. Have an option to pick Investor or Entrepreneur. An investor will just start out with some cash depending on the difficulty. Entrepreneur will obviously be starting a business, but you should be allowed to get investors to increase your starting capital but it will give the investors a percentage of your stock.

I like the idea.

Personally, i prefer "a bank" to be one of my firms, i own in my corporation. The player should be limited to have only 1 bank in his corporation (like one HQ rule) - if he merge a corporation with a bank, the two banks become one.

I think many players wanna have this "Bank option" avaliable all the time during playing. Maybe in the beginnig of scenario, they didn't wanna build one, but 30-40 gameyears later? That's why i wanna see it in building menu - right there waiting for me to build it... or not... Or if i sell my bank-firm, i should wanna build another one?

Also - micromanagement for banks should be simplified. Some sliders for interest rate, and so on. And pop-up windows if AI wants some loans.

I think it's good idea, and we should add up some more of it in this discussion...

cash to reduce debt

cash to buy other company stock

cash to buy media company

cash to buy land

cash to build apartment

cash to buy back stock

after you do everythings i suggest, i dont think you have cash on hand to enjoy interest!!

Its a matter to take advantage of all the possibility. Sometime the return is better if you can use the hight interrest while you built up your cash to make a big investment.
