in late game, after a significant amount of inflation, salaries for researchers (as well as software engineers) will glitch and increase costs MASSIVELY. having to rehire late game so much is tedious. sometimes as well, the salary will glitch and show 0, however it won't actually be set to that number, the actual salary is undetermined.

Looks like an overflow error. Normally inflation caps out at a certain level but presumably it is still too high in this case.

my save, the game is modded but this occurs in vanilla as well, in just about every game i've played
