Ability to pick your characters specialty & the cities

I would like to see the ability to pick the cities you start with and your characters specialty.

I would like to see the ability to pick the cities you start with and your characters specialty.

Regarding picking your specialty: Player expertise was something I was surprised by when I came to CapLab. But, I decided it gave me an excuse to try other industries that I would otherwise ignore, and thus it added something to the game for me.

It seems that choosing my specialty, however, will go right back to tending to choose the same thing every game, and thus losing some diversity and replayability, and I wouldn't see much purpose for having added player expertise in the first place. (I don't know why it was added tho.)

So, I think I prefer not being able to pick it.
