Where is the oil industry?

I find it odd that the oil is only used to make the semi-product plastic.

Oil is the biggest industry in the world. In the top 10 of the largest companies in the world, 7 are oil companies. with a combined revenue of 2.6 trillion dollars.

Entire countries are running on fuel.

Put it in the game.

And you don't have to go "to deep" into into it. All you need is a oil refinery and gasstations.

it's easy:
Setup a oil refinery Layout. input: oil. output: fuel
Setup gasstations. Input fuel, output fuel.

There are already suggestions in expansion of transportation, and plans for power plants in city simulation expansion, that would both use oil as input.

BTW, currently oil is not just for plastic, but also the ingredient for dyestuff and polyester already.

RIght now, you can pretend a store as gas station and move its product to other store.
