Not sure if bug or not.[stock market]

If it's a bug or i just forgot how to buy back my company's stock from other company's/CEO's.

I still have some public shares outstanding, but this other company is about to take me over!

And i'm wanting to buy some of my stock back from him but can't seem to remember how?

as far as buying back from another company, I'm not positive, but it could be that all outstanding shares need to be purchased first. That doesn't seem right to me but it's a possibility. there should be a button that says offer instead of buy.
