Challenge Games -- Cheat Mode

Probably stupid question, but here goes:

if a player chooses to cheat on a Challenge Mode game, does this somehow get reflected in one's "real score?"

If the cheat mode is enabled, challenge game score data won't be uploaded to the server.

thanks, I kinda thought as much, and really, who wants to cheat, except to play in a sort of "sandbox mode?"
