Missing Feature: Cash & stock deals!

Another feature that is missing in this DLC is the ability to acquire remaining shares with a mixture of cash and stock. Currently once you own 75% of a company, you click merge and you can elect to buy the remaining shares by issuing additional shares or paying cash.

Idea:

Allow the player (and AI) to specify the amount of cash they want to pay out for the remaining shares and stock they wish to issue this would enable players/AI to use their market cap to acquire shares and limit the share dilution during the process of acquiring a company

agree.

I like to take out big loans to fund the takeovers - knowing once I get my hands on the target companies cash I can pay a lot of it straight back - so it annoying when you have 25 billion and you need 25.5 billion to buy it.

when merging subsidiary's I would also like to be able to choose which way it happens. If company 2 is bigger turnover the company 1 then 2 can buy 1 but 1 cant buy 2 - even if company 1 has sufficient funds to buy out the other company.

Totally agree, it seems I hear more about how companies offer less cash but a high amount of their stock to offset the low cash to do a buyout. Would totally like to see that in CL.

Totally agree with this suggestion.

I really wish there was a feature where if I'm targeting a company I can just swoop in and buy whatever % I want to gain a majority stake. If I want to buy 50% then let me offer to buy 50% at a set price above the current market rate and then allow the AI to run through the same decision matrix they do now to consider that bid. The whole 5% at a time just doesn't make sense to me and as long as we are paying a premium there shouldn't be a balance issue.
