Since its introduction Batch switching has never been fool proof for me and this is an issue. I noticed that when I actually need to use the feature the most is when I can't get it to work.
When my source for a product, say Bottle Milk, is no longer available it breaks the link for all my retail stores that obtain Bottle Milk from the affected source. So I go to the retail purchase unit, browse for a new supplier of Bottle Milk, I highlight the new source and click Batch Switching, it takes me to a firm screen that shows me all the retail stores that will be affected and then when I click Batch Switching it says completed and says 1 firm is affected. I go to my other stores and the link is broken. I have not been able to figure out a sequence that makes batch switching works but this should be fool proof.
I have been able to get it to work if there's no connection break but when there is a connection break and you try to use it, it simply doesn't work. This is unacceptable. If necessary I can produce a video showing the flaws of this feature.
I'm using the latest patch.

I have found in the most recent version that pressing the batch switch button with the mouse usually results in no change, but if I press the hot key the tool works as intended.

I just tested it and it worked by clicking on the [Batch] button as shown in the attached screenshot.Arcnor wrote:I have found in the most recent version that pressing the batch switch button with the mouse usually results in no change, but if I press the hot key the tool works as intended.
If the problem persists in your game, please send me the save game file for investigation.

David,
Is the issue that will be addressed the one I reported that when a link is broken it doesn't work? Where you able to confirm it or do you need my save game.
if another issue was found please explain.
