The CEO of Victory Group in my game has a 800 million salary but no HQ. Doesn't a company need to have a HQ with a CEO office in order to have a salary set?
Okay I think I understand what has been happening with executive salaries (and Background Check: Morgan Lafay), with this DLC when you setup a subsidiary you give the CEO a salary at the creation which takes effect immediately and requires no HQ. What appears to have happened is that this CEO pay feature has been provided to the AI/subsidiary companies thus giving them the ability have a salary with no HQ.
Solution:
1. Have all companies+subsidiary start off with a HQ with a CEO department just like the game does for the human player.
This should resolve the issue with Morgan Lafay who's not tied to a company (and thus a HQ) collecting a salary (allegedly) as an individual investor.
