I've noted that when I set up a new subsidiary and go to limit the scope of production. I receive a message saying:
"Sorry, you cannot disable this product as it is the input for other products that are currently enabled in the Scope of Production list."
I can understand the need for this within the code, but the sub doesn't produce anything currently and the user has to be able to make changes over time.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: 3.1.02 Errors
You can solve this by just disabling the products that depends on the product that you want to disable.
e.g. if you want to disable Cheese but Cheese is an input to another product which is currently active. In order to disable Cheese, you must first disable that product first.

Yes I understand that but I mean when I first set the sub up before it builds any firms at all I can't set it to disable any product classes. All product classes give me the same error even though the sub is producing and selling nothing at all.

Re: 3.1.02 Errors
With the new patch, I now can adjust the scope of production and turn off some product classes but I still get the message when I try to turn off others.
This happen when I set up a new sub for the very first time before they have built any firms at all. My understanding is that at that point I should be able to turn off all product classes if I want too.
