Managment policies Issue V 3.1.2 / 3.1.03B

Post by anjali »

since i upgraded to V 3.1.2 its impossible to have subsidaries for anything at all

issue 1:
all managment rights removed just a simple price robot and the moment i let a shop handle by the ceo of the sub he starts to change the products ... ... if i change it back and hand control back to him he again fills the whole shop with a single product on all purchase/sale slots. this wasnt the case in earlier versions. the only reason for me keeping a sub is to have a price robot for my shops and this is now impossible

issue2:
scope of production can not be disabled at all. every product class has atleast 1 product that needs a semi product ergo cant disable any product group

David,

Is it possible to make "Pricing Policies for Individual Products" available for human player companies, this would remove the need to setup a subsidiary to be a pricing bot for shops and allow the human player to focus on other issues. Adjusting the pricing of products take up a LOT of time.

Instead of "Show Pricing Policy" for the human player company it can be SET Pricing Policy. Also David are the devs looking into allowing the human player to be CEO of two companies?

also in 3.1.03B with CEo's stripped to be a simple pricerobot they still do plenty other stuff

1. firms put up 4sale ... with thousands of firms across 23 subs to scroll through its a permanent disaster to check for firms put up 4sale.

2. closing down firms (especially shops)

3. changing production of factories (i.e. had a flowerpot factory supplying all cities ... stupid ceo changed it to sandals production whilest he allready had 12 sandals factories for 2 rubber farms!!!! its fucking stupid!!!)

havent got a chance to set up proper sales chains yet in 3.1.03B as i cant get anywhere near with the workload i have, to fix this bollox the ceo's do.

screw up those management policies as much as ya like but give me a simple price robot option where they do absolutely nothing but pricing!!! btw the price robot was working just fine at V3.1.0 with every rule stripped of the ceo's

We will address this problem in this next version 3.1.03C.
