Feedback: Batch Switching Transparency

Post by WilliamMGary »

Love the transparency of the batch switching feature which has been implemented, I think I totally misunderstood how it was suppose to work. Thank you.

At this time I'm not asking for changes but would like to start a discussion of batch switching and see if anyone else has had a problem with the current system or not. As a result of the new transparency, I now know that in order to use batch switching your store(s) have to source all of the specified product from the same supplier. I.E. Lipstick from Seaport in Baltimore. In later stages of the game as human players began doing backward integration this is not really an issue. Where I've experience usability issues with Batch Switching is at the start of the game is when I have stores in different cities which buy from different seaports due to costs. If later I want to just unify the stores to all buy from one source then I have to go to each store and change since batch switching will not work because of the different sources involved.

The way that I can effectively cope with this is to use Warehouses (the best buildings in the game). Anyone else have thoughts on batch switching?

The transparency in game is well done, I really appreciate it.
