Just started a new game, everything was working fine for a while, but after maybe 20 minutes of gameplay every time I would go into the fastest speed option it would take 25 seconds for a single month to go by. It was a bit faster (10 seconds) when I went into the stock exchange.
Any reasoning behind this, or is it some sort of bug?
Why is my Fast Forward so slow?

Just to give a bit more information on this problem:
I always play the game in windowed mode, and it seems that when I click off of the game this problem starts.

Re: Why is my Fast Forward so slow?
mostlikely its because of the huge amount of data to be calculated for every day.
as long as no company is building anything speed gonna be crazy high on 5, but once you got few hundred shops, factories, appartments, every single firm is calculated seperately and they also effect the other calculations for each city, so speed 5 at this stage mostlikely gonna run like a speed 2 when nothing is build yet.
there are only so much processes that can be handled at any given time.
and as it certainly operates on a single core only, it doesnt matter if ya got 2gb ram or 500gb ram. aint change nothing, only difference will be the amount of threads 1 core can handle at. so a cheap 1.4ghz quadcore will be slower then a oc'ed P4 running on 4.8ghz
