Suggestion: Some additions

First of all I like the current version and have a lot of fun as I did with the original, although I seem to be wanting a little more from an expansion.

Here is something I would like to see:

1. Increased amounts of new products, with longer games it is really no fun. 30-40 years and you have maxed out nearly all products on R&D.
(Electrical cars - would also entail a new engine design and car body design)
(Soy products - Linked to new crop)
(bluetooth products - could be linked to mobile and smart phone-sales)
(car-stereo systems - could be linked to car sales)
(Home-cinema systems)
(Memory-sticks)
(3D-televisions)
(Li-Ion Batteries)
(RC-helicopter)

2. New resources or ways to utilize them (would be fun to run a recycling plant :)
(Fertilizer - a product needed for farms)
(Soy crop)
(Hemp)

3. Product view should have "sort by" function on all values
I want to be able to see the most expensive product at a click in the price field
Or I would like to see the product with the highest brand value i could click the brand field in any product.

4. A way to link all your stores to a new supplier (or warehouse)
There may be a way to do this - but I know of no button like that.

5. New and improved detail views (with increased resolution comes the ability to display more info at a time)
There are so many windows that could be put into a single view and make the experience of managing an empire easier and less tedious at times.

6. Enhance the role-play part of the game.
* have the ability to make new icons for the businesses
* have the ability to add customized pictures for yourself and your opponents (would love to beat the Trump ;)
* have the ability to name factories, plants, stores and products (I want my gaming system to be called Axion...)

7. Increased info display when hovering over a plant, farm, store etc.
I would like to see products displayed and the staff utilization on each product (brand etc.) without having to click the store on map.

8. A forward and back button on several info screens.
If i click a port and the products view come up I would like to have a back and forward button so I easily can go through all the ports in that city.
The same if I click a store in a city I would like a button that would let me jump right to the next store. (same on factories and farms etc.)

These are just some of my thoughts.
Maybe more to come ;)

Why not. But I don't agree, electrical cars don't need new car body. Hybrid engine could be a new product, yes.
However, there are already a lot of products, but it's true that some of them have more "R&D new products" than other.

I'd love to additional products to product classes with only two or three products

And automobiles in particular!

Sorting is also a great idea, although filtering reduces the need of sorting.

#8 is also a great suggestion, always had some difficulties activating the firm filters - a bit of a hassle...
