I have encountered 2 weird things which i want to have confirmed (ie im doing something wrong) or there might be a bug in it...
The first is this:
In my game i am the only company that builds and sells Mobile Phones. I am selling them in 5 of the 7 cities and have been doing that for 9 years so far. For all the time the demand was about the same as my supply with a medium price ($250,-) as you can see in chigaco.
Now all of a sudden the demand for them drops to near zero in all 5 cities. First i thought hey another company might be selling them aswell now, with a higher overall score, but that is not the case.
I lowered the prices to see if demand went back up but it didnt. I uped the amount of amount of money for advertising (this comes back in the 2nd issue down here), but to no avail.
There is only one thing that might cause it, if so i must say its partly brilliant of the developers but also a little drop in gameplay.
What i mean is that since bout 1-2 years other companies started to sell camera phones, which is essentialy the upgraded version of the mobile phone. This causing the game population to have changed their demand from the mobile phone to the camera phone. Probably David would be the best person to confirm or disprove my idea about the upgraded product
The second issue is this:
I want some more time testing this (or trying to find out whats going on) but i've noticed in some cities that other companies have an insanely high brand rating on some products (ranging over 100). While that is not realy weird, but what is, is that they did that in a timespawn of only a couple year (2-3) and its way way way higher then any other company selling that product.
