AI Software companies not doing anything

I've noticed that the AI software companies in my game haven't been doing anything. An OS has been available since the first year of the game and yet the AI never builds a software company or tries to do anything. After several years of inactivity they start to convert into stock companies but up to this point no one but myself and the OS AI has built a software company and they are the only AI I've currently observed that do.

1) Which version of Capitalism Lab you are using. You can see the version number on the top-right of the main menu.
2) The exact steps for triggering the bug with the save game
3) If your savegame uses a MOD, please let us know the name of the MOD and the MOD's version number.

You can find save game files of Capitalism Lab from:
C:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\My Games\Capitalism Lab\SAVE

1) Version 5.6.03 Beta
2) Going into firms to check software firms. I'm the only one that has any despite there being 3 software companies left in the game. 3 have already converted into stock companies and none have made any effort to build software companies.
3) I made a personal mod where the only thing I change is to add the larger factory. Nothing else is done or changed. I've included the mod with the save game.

The bug has been fixed in the latest patch v5.6.05. Please download it from: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5345

Please note that you will need to start a new game after applying the patch.
