Re: GUI - Selected item persistence
David, is it clear on my part?
There might not be any 'shuffle', but insted insertion/removal from the top of the list, actually.
The main thing here, as it was the case in other reports, is it seems position of a seleted item in a list is remembered (n-th), rather than the selected target (uniquely allocated ID to each entry - firm - for instance).

Re: GUI - Selected item persistence
All these issues have been fixed in the latest patch v5.4.32. I understand that you are using the post-release version. We will release a patch for the post-release version containing the same fixes later.megapolis wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 1:44 pm Stock Market. If a company has too many shareholders, say, 20, scroll works unpredictably. Starting from position 11 (or something), your active cell is always the bottom one. So you basically cannot have shareholder#12 active while having shareholders #12-19 visible, you will always see active shareholder and 7 shareholders above it.
Firms. Long firms list use to go one page up if you re-open it after leaving it by, say, pressing "Go" button. Bug appears only after scrolling the list. If you don't scroll it, you will always be on the same page.
Factories/Stores/etc. Goods rating is not updated immediately if you change the price. You can have goods price updated immediately only if you change the price from Product Details interface.
If you change supplier in a factory, information about it becomes bugged. It will show partial information about new supplier. It is very annoying if you use autolink supplier on new firms.

David, you forgot to log off?Berbe wrote: ↑Mon Jan 07, 2019 5:41 pmThe fixes in v5.4.32 should address this issue too. If not, please let me know. After issuing shares to the parent company for a subsidiary owned >= 75%, < 100% in Financial actions, instead of remaining where it was the selection is switched to the pane allowing to issue public shares for the parent company.
As for other interface issues you mentioned, the programmers will continue to improve them after the release of this recent patch.

There are more issues on this page. Top-right selection also forgets where it was. So if you have a lot of companies and have a different amount of options for them, you see different pages while scrolling companies list.
Also interface inherits stock price and amount of shares to be issued from the previous page. As a result you have a possibility to issue shares at 100000% premium. (apart from the fact that it is also an example of bad user interface).

Re: GUI - Selected item persistence
I just tested on v5.4.32, the parent company is selected afterwards. The Issue shares to parent company option thus became Issue shares to the public, being the same n-th element.David wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 12:44 pmThe fixes in v5.4.32 should address this issue too.
