Re: User Interface Improvement Poll
For this suggestion "Option for bigger minimap (200%)", I made a mock-up by just scaling the mini-map to 200% - see attached. It seems to be occupying too much space on the screen.

Re: User Interface Improvement Poll
STATUS UPDATE:
We have implemented the following two suggestions on this thread.:
>More native screen resolutions supported - most common today but missing are 1366 x 768, 1440 x 900, 1600 x 900, 1536 x 864, other big screen resolutions 1600 x 1200, 2560 x 1440, and 3840 x 2160
>Alternative Keyboard command set with WSAD and/or cursor keys used to scroll city map.
This one is already in the game since a very early version of Capitalism Lab:
>Using Truetype fonts in UI to improve readability (the game is already using Truetype fonts)
The following suggestions, which only received few votes, are either extremely time consuming or technically difficult to implement. It is not worth the time and cost for implementing them, as the dev team had better spend their time working on more important/useful features.
>Smooth scrolling of the city map
>A scaled UI setting to increase menus and maps size by 50% or 100%
>Game window becomes OS managed with minimize, maximize and close button
>Game window can be resized to needs by pulling edges
>Feedback sounds of mouse and key activity improved
We may work on this suggestion. But we need more inputs from the community as to how exactly you want us to implement it. Any feedback will be helpful.
>More mouse-over feedback like highlighting of buttons, better tooltips (look at HOI IV for impressions)
Finally, if you have any other suggestions for improving the interface that are not listed on this thread, please feel free to post your ideas.
