Need help understanding how to raise stock prices

Hi All,

I am an absolute complete newbie at these games (haven't played any of the Capitalism games). I on the 5th(?) tutorial about stocks. I read the tutorial twice and I think i am missing something. I don't understand how to raise my stock my prices. The tutorial talks a lot about buying stock of other companies till I control them and buy stock as them as well. It also mentions buying back stock, which i can't find as well.

Anyways, the goal of the tutorial is raise my stock price to like $100. How do I go about do things? Expand my company and open new factories/stores? Buy stocks from other companies? I really feel like I missed something
