I don't know. I just bought 75% of a company, sold it technology not relevant to its specialty (Toilet Cleaner to Automobile specialty AI) which raise its level from 9 to 397 and that's it.

6.1.4
Bonds purchases are processed incorrectly.
When I tried to buy back my bond that was partially bought by a competitor, all the remaining bonds fell into that competitor's pocket.
Bank Branch. 3x3 building? That's too big IMHO.

Re: Banking Beta issues
Final report on my 6.0.x game.
There are several observations that I cannot classify as bugs because I don't have enough information but I see them as bugs.
1. Telecom Companies. Users don't flow between telecoms at all. In my run I entered telecom market rather late because of reasons and I was unable to get a significant share even with lower price and enormous amount of free connections. All new users were using my service but existing users did not move at all.
2. Economy health. I had a long recession lasting all the game despite low corporate taxes (sometimes as low as 1%) and influx of money from export operations.
3. As a result I see 30 years of 6-7% unemployment and cities that do not grow at all.
Relevant save sent in PM.

Re: Banking Beta issues
Sometimes I cannot issue stocks after 60-days cooldown and on the other hand sometimes I can issue stocks immediately.
By the way, counter of issued stocks is broken. It only shows this year amount and do not show previous years. (it was broken in 6.0.x already and can be seen on my previous save)
Oh, and by the way stock issue confirmation screen shows amount of stocks I am able to issue next time, not the amount I issued now. This bug is 100 years old.

Re: Banking Beta issues
Could you please elaborate on this?Bonds purchases are processed incorrectly.
When I tried to buy back my bond that was partially bought by a competitor, all the remaining bonds fell into that competitor's pocket.
Which counter were you referring to?By the way, counter of issued stocks is broken. It only shows this year amount and do not show previous years. (it was broken in 6.0.x already and can be seen on my previous save)
There is a old discussion on this: http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewto ... com#p280031. Telecom Companies. Users don't flow between telecoms at all. In my run I entered telecom market rather late because of reasons and I was unable to get a significant share even with lower price and enormous amount of free connections. All new users were using my service but existing users did not move at all.
Are you aware of any real life cases in the telecom industry where newcomers were able to seize market share significantly? If so, with any case details you might provide, I will forward them to the dev team and suggest that they consider adjusting the formula for the telecom user acquisitions.
Japan was mired in recession for a long period of time, despite a string of fiscal and monetary stimulations they put into the economy.2. Economy health. I had a long recession lasting all the game despite low corporate taxes (sometimes as low as 1%) and influx of money from export operations.
In real life, it surprised no one that unemployment can be persistent. Just look at the EU's decade long unemployment problem.3. As a result I see 30 years of 6-7% unemployment and cities that do not grow at all.
Having that said, if your games experience the same economic pattern over and over again, then potentially something might be wrong and I will request the dev to look into it. But if it only happened occasionally, then it is totally normal as by nature economies are unpredictable. (Do you recall any economists who has a track record of making accurate economic forecast?)
If you issue a small quantity of new issues, the cooldown time will be shorter.Sometimes I cannot issue stocks after 60-days cooldown and on the other hand sometimes I can issue stocks immediately.
These two bugs will be fixed in the next update.Oh, and by the way stock issue confirmation screen shows amount of stocks I am able to issue next time, not the amount I issued now.
Bank Deposits are not affected by inverse inflation.

Bottom right graph. In this example I issued more than 750000 shares in previous years.

Yes, we have a couple of examples here in Moscow. And even a bancrupcy. And... Well, I changed my provider four times in last fifteen years and all four are not relevant to these examples.David wrote: Fri Nov 22, 2019 2:50 amThere is a old discussion on this: http://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewto ... com#p280031. There should be some movement between telecoms and I think that 20 years is enough to take a reasonable share from the market leader.

Re: Banking Beta issues
David, I am glad that your first suggestion was that I don't possess the knowledge of the feature that I use in all my games. That is flattering.David wrote: Fri Nov 22, 2019 2:50 amIf you issue a small quantity of new issues, the cooldown time will be shorter.Sometimes I cannot issue stocks after 60-days cooldown and on the other hand sometimes I can issue stocks immediately.
On the screenshot that I provided I was using this feature as soon as became available. Here's what you can see on that screenshot.
1. 5 months cooldown from 01.12.1992 to 25.04.1993 where was unable to issue any new stock.
2. 6 days cooldown between issuing maximum amount of stock.
Additionally you can see a big fluctuation of money that I can raise at different times which also looks unusual.
Both numbers do not resemble anything close to 60 days cooldown.
I can even suggest the reason behind this bug but you definitely know the game much deeper than I do. I am only a stupid player with several thousand hours played.
