Executive Salaries with Banking

So I am having a big problem. I have an extremely profitable banking arm of my company, but it is so profitable that my COO and CTO keep asking for huge payraises. They are now each earning $300mm even though they don't do anything for the bank. This is essentially cannibalizing much of my industrial / consumer profits. I think banking profits should either (a) be reduced when they aren't being derived from leverage (i.e., high profits just from having a lot of capital in your bank) or (b) be excluded from the calculation of op profits for exec salary demands / be included at a lower % (10-20%, say). Even top banking execs these days aren't making more than $20 million a year or so at the very largest banks in the US.

Yes, chief´s salaries can be exorbitant if your corp is making a lot of money. I believe these should:
1- start lower for new recruits regardless of the profits of your corp, but raise faster as time goes and profits keep coming.
2- character salaries should be exponentially tweaked to reflect their skills. A 100 skill person should earn a lot and one with 20 a tiny fraction of that.

Honestly, even the highest earning CEOs in the world only have $100+ million salaries every so often (not every year), most people have base salaries in the range of $450k to $3.5 million. It's the bonus' that bump up the pay. I would love to see the exec pay be more reasonable, but with the ability to offer percentage based bonuses.

In the upcoming version 6.3.00, the game will exclude bank and insurance profit from COO, CTO and CMO salaries calculation.
