Cryptocurrency DLC/Mod idea

So I have been thinking about this for a while. There are many ways to make money and have this tie into existing game aspects. My idea primarily focuses on a few important parts of the crypto world such as currency creation (will it be mined, offered, or pre-mined and offered?), and exchanges.
  • The banking DLC would work well integrating this currency into an exchange for companies and individuals to trade on the market in game.
  • Some banks could hold large amounts of crypto and collect fees for processing transactions over the crypto networks.
  • Computer hardware would also become a deciding factor on how quick companies or individuals could mine the currency.
  • The miners would then calculate profit by figuring in mining difficulty, overhead expenses (power consumption, hardware costs, maintenance, etc), and exchange fees for cashing out profits to fiat if they wish.
  • Companies could also choose to adopt crypto as payment for their goods.
I definitely would love to have community input on this! Think it's a good idea? Have some suggestions? Don't like it? Post your 2 cents!
