Hi,
I have only played a few hours of this DLC and I have a basic understanding of the workings of a bank. My understanding is that money is raised with the difference between interest payments on deposits and interest collected on loans.
It this the only way to make corporate cash as a bank? I am struggling to maintain 10-15 million in my corporation. I have a positive yearly profit, so why is this not reflected in my cash amount?
I found that I constantly need to inject more cash into my bank to maintain my Capital Ratio, therefore, I cannot see any alternative than to issue bonds and stock to raise capital to raise money.
Also, it would be nice to add service charges as a source of income, I know banks make a ton of money through monthly service plans and transaction-based fees on savings and checking accounts. This could be a possible addition to the banking model.
How to raise cash?

Ginn I would suggest setting your Loan to asset ratio to 69% then gradually raise it by 1 or 2 percent when you have enough liquidity (ie transferable cash)
The bank profits generated font automatically get paid to your subsidiary you have to go into bank head quarters and go to Financial and then fund transfer, (change the arrow to point to transfer to subsidiary by clicking on it
Only do this when you have more than enough transferable cash as if economy moves to depression you will end up with loan write off`s, a loss and possibly not enough money to cover the cash call.

Re: How to raise cash?
Thanks for the tips!
I’m finding that running a bank is very different than the regular game mechanics. It really is a delicate balance, you need to constantly keep an eye on your loans and savings ratio, constantly adjusting the rates and percentages. The developers did a great job and I hope they evolve the mechanics to include mortgages, service fees, and possibly integrate ABMs and website presence.
I’m still trying to figure out what makes a successful bank. Right now I am earning a decent yearly profit, better than the other 2 big banks in my game. Although, they are operating at a loss and have no revenue, they have way more cash and loan assets than I do.
With regular corporations in the game you pretty much can tell how successful you are by looking at the the bottom line and how much the company is worth. Can anyone illuminate on what makes a successful bank? Is it total assets, yearly profit, market share?
Again, amazing work with this DLC and I can’t wait for the complete version with insurance companies included.

The yearly profit (cash) stays in the bank until you transfer it to your corporate account. Thus, even if you earned 100 mil for a year, you wont find them in your corporate cash, you can transfer them from bank, given the bank didnt loan them in the process, but by doing so bank also increases its profits.Ginn7 wrote: Thu Jan 02, 2020 1:59 am I have a positive yearly profit, so why is this not reflected in my cash amount?
