Correction:
The old save games are not compatible with the latest version 5.7.12.
If you want to continue to play the save games, you may download the old version v.5.6.23 installer from:
http://12299.cdn.beyondhosting.net/capl ... _v5623.exe

I just experienced this very same issue today.
I bought the game last week with 3 DLC's (Subsidiary, City Economic and Digital Age). Today I installed a patch that I was instructed to install and cannot play my saved game?
The original install was v6.3.08, the patch is v6.4.07
I replied to my e-mail and am awaiting a response.
