Most business types have a script option to choose how many are allowed or even none.
There appears to be no script option for telecoms companies so an option Max AI Telecom companies = to be added

I think this should also be added to the normal game options when choosing amount of AI software / internet companies

this would also allow starting the game with no internet enabled until the telecoms structure is built. or starting with several which would presumably allow some competition and stop them accruing mass wealth.

as it stands one telecoms company is formed, its impossible to buy it (that ive seen), and it accrues and absolute fortune in short order.

I would recommend that you create a poll for your suggestion to gauge the community's interest in it. There would be a higher chance that the dev team will implement it if the interest level is high.
