The "player" gets money even when the company loses money.
It is impossible to give yourself less than a certain amount of money, which is different for each game.
I would find it more logical to be able to give yourself a remuneration once the HQ is built.
Receiving a percentage of profits" is a bit like receiving dividends except that it would depend on the current month or year's profits

Did you mean that you couldn't set the CEO's salary to zero in the headquarters? It is impossible to give yourself less than a certain amount of money, which is different for each game.
In my testing, I was able to set my CEO's salary to zero even when the company is profitable. You may send me your save game if you still encounter the problem.

I let's the save and a few video there
https://data.netfinity.fr/d/b6fbbf90ae6047b6b363/
In each part, I have a "minimum remuneration" when the company loses money which is either $10,000 or $60,000
It's mainly the fact that my minimum salary is so random that it bugs me.
My video https://data.netfinity.fr/f/5c84ac51961541acbf8f/ is representative of what happens as the "minimum" pay changes depending on the performance.

The bug is not fixed for AI companies. This may actually cause businesses not to invest or build new firms at all due to the negative income impacting their behavior for expansion.David wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 2:42 am The bug with the CEO salary setting has been fixed. I've run a few games now (on very low expansion aggression) and companies are either extremely conservative or resistant to the idea of investing in any kind of business. To be more frank companies are just not starting up at all due to this bug. I mean ... they are NOT starting at all ... no businesses are being formed due to them most likely not wanting to build a firm because they are running a negative income

This bug does not appear when you run it on higher 'AI expansion aggressiveness' such as 'Moderate' but on 'Very Low' it literally cripples the AI into doing absolutely nothing the entire game.

This has been fixed. An AI CEO won't get a salary until his/her company is profitable and a corporate HQ has been setup.Brutus wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 11:13 amThe bug is not fixed for AI companies.
