Promoting from within my company/subsidiary

Was wondering if there was a way to implement promoting from within own company or other subsidiaries. As it is now if i feel like a COO, CTO or even a CMO are better suited to be CEO of a new Subsidiary or even a company already employed by, i have to terminate and then hope to be able to rehire if they r not mad or angry with me for the termination in the first place. Could there be a way to promote or transfer from one position to another or even from one company/subsidiary to another in the same manner or close to the way we can transfer buildings from one sub to another? This would also be helpful if i acquire another company through takeover and would like a person who already works for me to run said company.

Yes, that would be a nice improvement, to shuffle the HQ personnel without having to fire anyone.

This improvement has been implemented in the latest post-release beta version 5.7.06.

When you offered a new job position to an executive who is already working in your company, it will be considered as an internal transfer and there will be no negative consequences.

I cannot find how to promote COO to subsiduary CEO? When pressing Hire New and then the COOs career page there are no hire button only COO controls (pricing policy etc).

What am I missing?
