Screen resolution, did you forget about some of us?

Post by City Builder »

Hello,

I will first say that I loved playing Cap 2 back in it's day, I remember gaming sessions that went on for maybe 10 to 20 hours at a time.

When I first learned that you were doing an expansion for it I was giddy with delight.

The first time that I heard about it was on June 7, 2010 and over the past 2 years most of us had forgotten about it until today when somebody posted on my forums (citybuildergames.com) that it's now available for pre-order.

I rushed over and what do I see... I see that my computer monitors native resolution of 1600x900 is not one of the listed supported resolutions, so it seems if I do want to play CapLab (and I really DO want to play it) then I've got to play it at 1024x768. Well, there went 90% of my desire right there.

Do you guys think that you could put 1600x900 resolution into the beta so that I can throw my money at you? I'd sure appreciate it.

I humbly await your reply.

Better yet, 1680 X 1050. Until I upgrade my monitor to one that support HDMI connections, I can't get max resolution due to using my laptop.

LOL - Not "Better yet" but rather "ALSO" include 1680x1050 Not all of us can use 1680x1050 either.

I am running at 1680x1050, but I would also like to have a 1440x900 windowed mode. The current windowed mode at a higher resolution is almost clipping through the top and bottom and I find that compulsively irritating
