I like to own clean and even numbers of shares when possible. This is fine when you're buying and selling batches of 5% ownership in a company with 10 million shares, but when new shares get issued, the numbers all start to go wrong!
I have managed to work out ways to issue exact quantities of shares in the Financial Actions menu, but it's a very annoying and fiddly process. I would be very happy if there was a way to enter a specific number directly into the menus when doing actions with Shares, so that I could Buy or Sell chunks of 500,000 shares instead of 5% of whatever number the total outstanding shares happens to be.
Enter specific Number Shares to Buy/Sell/Issue

Re: Enter specific Number Shares to Buy/Sell/Issue
I would like this function and it's not just about beautiful numbers. There are companies in the global stock market whose shares, even in volume of 0.1%, are worth $50 million or more, and with a low initial capital, I cannot buy them. Apple in Capitalism Lab has 3,000,000,000 shares, 1 security costs only 150 dollars, and I cannot buy shares for 5,000,000 dollars, because 0.1% of all shares are worth more.
