Force Closure

Hi , I appear to be getting a game force closure after pressing information Centre button.

No further problems other than the game force closing when pressing information centre.

I am currently 2 + years into the game from start date, recent steps before the force closure was placing an additional Bank Branch in each city, equalling x 2 Bank Branch in each city out of 4 cities, totalling 8 Bank Branches + Bank HeadQuarters.


Version in use : 8.0.15
Mods used : Real World Mod latest update
DLC Used : Digital Age / Banking & Finance only.

Not sure what reason would be for the force closure of the game however if you can let me know hopefully I can avoid a repeat on next play through.

I loaded your save game and followed the above steps, then opened the Information Center but didn't encounter any crashes.

Would you please provide more details about those steps or send me a save game with those steps already done so that I can trigger the crash by just opening the Information Center?

You may also consider upgrading to v8.1.09 which is a new version and may have fixed this bug. The download link: https://www.capitalism2.com/forum/viewt ... f=7&t=8844 (Old save games are not compatible with the new version though.)

Hi , When i wrote this topic and attached the save game, i was using my laptop when at work.

I have since tried the same save file on my pc at home and the crash happened, however they both have exact same version of 8.0.15

so I will install the version you sent me in the link and get back to you.

I updated to the new version you gave Me.

oddly enough it no longer see's any of the save files I have in My save folder so I can't load the save game file that I sent you.

Is there a way to get the version to see the previous save games?

If i start new game and save it, that save file appears in the save game folder with all the rest, but when choosing load game only that save game shows up.

Please be informed that old save games are not compatible with the new version.

You may reinstall the old version if you really want to load the old save game. You can download version 8.0.15 installer from: https://caplab.b-cdn.net/Capitalism_Lab_Installer.exe
