Some players may need to switch the information button frequently, because they need to see the logos of various companies in urban areas, and they need to see the products produced by various factories in industrial areas.

Please download the new version 8.2.03
It added a shortcut key for switching the firm information display mode as you've suggested.
Firm Information Display Mode (hotkey: '\')
Click to toggle Firm Information Display Mode: 1) Firm types are displayed in the main city view. 2) Utilization rates are displayed for factories, farms and mines. 3) Occupancy rates are displayed for apartments and commercial buildings.
p.s. TAB key is already used for switching between government mode and corporation mode when you are the mayor of the city.
Note to translators: please update the line "Firm Information Display Mode (hotkey: '\')" in your translated version of help.txt.

Thank you so much for your quick reply, I hadn’t expected this suggestion to be accepted so soon!
However, there is one small problem!
Since WASD is used to control movement in many games, players are accustomed to using WASD to scroll the city map, leading to us always putting our middle finger on “W”.
For a frequently used shortcut, “\” is too far away from WASD, where our left hand always stays. We need to move our left hand back and forth a lot, and that is tiring.
Suggestions:
1 To solve this kind of problem once and for all, please give players the ability to customize Shortcut Keys.

2 A temporary compromise would be changing the shortcut for “toggling info” from “\” to any key near WASD, like “Ctrl-E”, “Ctrl-R” or the less convenient “Ctrl-Q”.
