When you see (1. attachment), it get's annoying, so that there would be an option that that is disabled.

For me I don't see idea 1 being of much use to me, but I probably don't play like some players play.
What I mean is that I've never actually seen a game of Cap Labs where there are so many media firms that I would need to know if it's mine or if it belongs to the government or an AI player. Hell, so far I've never even seen an AI buy a media firm in any of my games and if I was likely to try to play Media Firm Tycoon with Cap Labs then I'd probably own all the media firms in town anyway and wouldn't need to separate out what might be the one or two that are still owned by the government in the game. BUT... If it's a worthwhile option for enough players then who am I to oppose it although I won't vote for it as I said, I don't see it being something that I would actually need in the game.


Number 2 on the other hand I think is useful for all players. I know plenty of people that get annoyed that the AI keeps bugging them to buy their tech. I'm one of those players (which seems pretty common) that will NEVER sell my tech to the AI's. I just never see a reason in MY game to want to do so. The money that I've spent is usually substantially more than the AI is willing to offer me and so I'd love to be able to just disable them asking to buy my tech at all, as I'm never going to sell it to them unless they offer me crazy mad amounts of money, I'm talking 100,000,000 instead of only 10,000,000 which they are not likely stupid enough to do.

I think the disable/enable option should be in the options panel however, since that is what existing players are used to seeing this kind of option in.

As for idea 1, i see no reason for such an option, atm with only 3-6 (6 being much later in a game) you can quickly see who (gov; ai comp or you) owns the place.

Another option is the one that I suggested where they allow us to name all of our firms/businesses in that when I own multiple media firms in one city I might simply name them TV Station 1, and TV Station 2 etc in which case I'd still not likely need to have a filter to filter out my own media firms on that list, but could simply see that it's my own media firm based solely on my own naming conventions.

Still hoping that they implement the ability for us to name our own businesses so that they are easier to find and link to the one that we want when we are using multiple factories, farms etc to produce items of the same.
