So, it's really getting annoying when you try get the hausing demand index lower than the supply index.
So, my idea is that you don't build only one apartment but apartment complexes. But the apartment complex is separately from the usual 3 types of the apartments, in the same menu Apartments, but separately.

I'd rather use a mansion complex (two types - normal and luxury) - which can include 8-10 simple houses in large free area or 5-6 big mansions also in large free area. You can build it as 1. This surely can help with big apartments/mansions demand, coz you'll eventually build several housing project en masse - with 2-3 clicks.
The thing with the apartment complex that bother me is - free room to build issue. You can not build in the middle of the city, and you should find large open space outside, far from stores, jobs and so on. Then in such large complex - of up to 6 apartments - this means more than thousands of residents - it'll never be filled up, and will cost gazilion dollars to make. Hence i never see this in real life - usually builders prefer housing projects, mansion complexes and not building large apartment area if not in a resort.
Well, i can say this - you should develop your idea further, i wanna see more of it and hear some other opinions. But i'm totally on for something like this.
