Small City Economic DLC suggestion polls

-In history perhaps add "ran for mayor" and if they are party executive?
-City graphs are pretty unreadable (years wise) to compare how each mayor did over their terms, Perhaps this can be improved?
-I think it would also be super useful to show and track history of policy changes in a city, This will be nice to determine if I want to donate to a political party or not
-and also city rankings over time and quality of life (per ranking) changes overtime
-Now since there is a city tab under mayors, I think this would be a perfect place to put a summary of this data by term
-More variety in amount of political parties, and do not let more then one person from same party run, It's unrealistic

I think the big things are showing data more clearly and tracking history - especially when it comes to cities. It can help us view the economic background and history of the city much better, and to see what policies mayors implemented and failed.[/i]

Don't really see the point, I would never donate to a political party except mine.

The occasional bug where the AI runs 2 candidates in same city does need fixing though if someone can provide a save with it to DEVS.

What do you mean only donate to yours?
My main suggestion was making tracking history much more detailed and more clear.

Exactly that, I do not ever donate to AI parties so I wouldn't ever be choosing to support them, only my own party so I don't consider the history at all or even which party is in power.

Any concrete suggestions about what summary info to be displayed there? If you could do a simple mock-up, I will forward it to the devs for their consideration.

It would basically be taking 4 years averages of everything and putting them on that page, term by term that you can scroll through. This would not only be an excellent way to track the history, but the history of the the world in a clear way.

my main concern would be how much impact would it have on game speed which often slows for a crawl anyway, if it has to retain all this extra info, and what effect it would have on files sizes which can already get huge.

adding even more political parties the same - that would be even more AI people needed- more performance.
